Here's an update with what everyone in A.L. has been doing since parting ways.

First, before we get to everyone individually, we want everyone to know that we will

be finishing up a 14 song CD over the next couple months.  It will contain

all of our more recent songs, so check back to find out when it will be available.  In the

next week or so we'll post a track list.

Now on to the new projects/news....

Candace has a new project called One Week Later with Todd of Hips and J.

Check out these 3 songs that were written and recorded in a week

at Sheffield Studios and engineered by Jordan Lally.

They are full songs so be patient while they download.

The Recher show has been postponed.  It was out of our control.

Check back in a week or so and we'll post the new date and possibly

new club.  We are also looking to possibly make this last show a CD

release party/going away party because we just recorded 14 songs

at Sheffield Studios this past Sunday and they turned out great!

Stay Tuned...

This is taken from Candace's journal.  None of us could have said it any better...

After 6 years of rocking Another Lincoln stylie...it will be time for us to take our last curtain call. Another Lincoln will be playing its final show Oct. 9th 2004 at the Recher Theatre. Hopefully you can come celebrate the music, friends and energy shared for the last 6 years.

It will be ALL AGES...

Let's fill this night with sparkling happy memories. Come help us go out with a bang!

"Why" you ask? We have reached the end of our yellow brick road...as we all continue to search for our heart's desire...we remain the best of friends. We just wanted to go out on a positive wave...In the mighty words of  Def Leppard..."It's better to burn out, then fade away..." or Neil Young, or Kurt Cobain...you understand...

This is not goodbye...it's see you later...
I want to thank everyone who made my time in "OZ" so amazing.
Tim and I started this band for fun,
to make my one dream come true. (That was to play on a stage one time. ONCE.)
And six years later, we have played on more stages than I can count and gained more
than I could ever imagine.  I have had the opportunity to play with amazing and talented
musicians...all of whom are Lincolns in my heart always.
Lee, Phil, Dave, Ronnie, Bill, Andy, Jon, Eric, Bryan, Mike, thank you for being a part of
the journey...a special thank you to Craig, Matt, Gary, and of course Tim - who has been
on this journey with me from the beginning. Thank you for walking, skipping and jumping in
unison with me at the end of our funky brick road.
We have encountered our fair share of villains, heartbreak and disappointment...
but looking back...
the beautiful, successful and amazing experience fades all that out. We have reached our
destination.  I take with me in my heart... the memory, the knowledge, the amazing songs
that were written, and family and friends that I have gained. I hope that everyone understands
the impact that they made in my life and I will forever hold them and
everything "Another Lincoln" close to my heart.

DOROTHY "If I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my
own backyard. Because if it isn't there, I never really lost it to begin with!"
GLINDA "That's all it is!"
SCARECROW "But that's so easy!  I should have thought of it for you."
TIN MAN "I should have felt it in my heart."
GLINDA "No.  She had to find it out for herself. Now, those magic slippers will take you
home in two seconds!"

There are no goodbyes...just lots of see ya laters...

Thank you to everyone who has ever supported us in any way!

You ALL know who you are and you ALL rock!!!!
